Faced with record-high natural gas prices, Illinois households faced high heating bills during the winter of 2005/2006. BMI developed a five-part, multi-media video series designed to educate Illinois consumers on energy saving tips and techniques to reduce energy consumption and save on heating costs. The five-part series highlights easy “how to” approaches, and features energy and building science consultant Steve Easley as the host. Topics included those on furnace heating, kitchen appliances, water heating, insulation and air sealing and energy saving opportunities in living spaces.
