Welcome to the second level of training at the DuPont Building Knowledge University. This segment of the training is required for all Tyvek Specialists seeking Residential certification. To become a certified Residential Specialist, you will be required to complete the following seven Courses in this Level, and pass the tests at the conclusion of each Course:

Course 1: Understanding Home Energy Use and Comfort
A measured investigation of home energy use and the science of heat transfer

Course 2: Water and Moisture Management
An investigation of water moisture intrusion problems and solutions

Course 3: Window Technologies
A detailed exploration of window systems and their effect on walls

Course 4: Fundamentals of Indoor Environmental Quality
A detailed study of the climate conditions inside homes that affect health and comfort

Course 5: HVAC System Overview
An examination of the effects of HVAC on moisture, air pressure and IEQ

Course 6: Home Energy Analysis
An introduction to using home energy analysis software

Course 7: Educating the Industry
An overview of training techniques to educate builders and designers on residential wrap systems
